Dilute solution — ln γ°, ε and e

Dilute alloy melt / disordered solution only: ln γ°, ε, e. No phase diagrams. UEM and UEM–Miedema apply only to solution phases; for crystalline solids use DFT/AIMD, not this calculator.

Fallback path. Prefer ε from binary Redlich–Kister parameters when those data exist (Tab 2). This tab estimates dilute quantities from UEM–Miedema when binary RK data are missing.

Crystalline solids are out of scope for UEM / UEM–Miedema.

Binary extrapolation — manual RK parameters only

Extrapolation only for ΔH, GE and activity — no phase diagrams. RK parameters are entered manually; no built-in database.

For simplicity, the web version supports up to 4 components. Order matters for odd RK terms.

RK: first-named component is the RK x variable.

Activity (G mode): lnγ from ∂(n·GE)/∂ni, a = x·γ.
